For you guys that trailer you cars, what size is your trailer? I'm looking for an enclosed auto hauler. The dealer I usually deal with only has 18 and 22 foot ones in stock. There are a load of 20 foot coming but the price is going way up due to the cost of metal these days. I was quoted $7899 for the 22 foot but this think this may be excessive for just the vette.
What brand is that? That seems to be a good price for a 22',better grab it before the new exchange rate is added to the price. That is the shortest you would want to consider,I would go at least 24',the extra space is handy for bringing extra stuff with you. Also check the axles on that one they are probably 3500#,if you can upgrade to 5200# you'll less likely to be stranded at the side of the road.I'm pleased with my Interstate 24 footer, when I was shopping it offered more for the money and seemed to be put together than the other brands.I have put about 15,000 kms on it and nothing has fallen off yet, can't say the same for the Pace that I borrowed this spring.
Have a 27' Continental and a Haulmark 25'. The 27' has 22' of straight wall and the 25' has about 20' of straight wall. Both are drive on / off. This feature is not for autos but for sleds and quads but in my opinion you have to be able to use them for more than 1 activity. The Cont. has the 5200# axles and are an absolute must. When I bought mine they were a $1000.00 add on. The Haulmark is better built. The Cont. is actually one of the cheaper built trailers out there. Make sure you check out the quality of wiring, inside finishing etc. They are all a little tight to get out of the vette with the amount you can open the door. Good luck.
