Should I ????
Well I'm thinking about trading in my 01 34000km Black Z06 for a 2008 vert Vette... My moded Z makes 430 hp to the wheels , I'd realy like a Brand new 08 vert , but is it worth it? Theres a deal right now untill nov 30 , 1.9 % finance on all 08 vettes for 72 months.. Should I pull the trigger and trade my beloved proven beast, for a calm but sweet , new 08?
Hmmm! Now there's a good question. However, you're the only one that can answer it.
I'm not sure I'd want to go into debt when you only average < 5,000 km/yr.
Now on the other hand, it's always great to get a new car.
Gee, I hope I helped you.

If you can still get the GM and dealer incentives I would go for it! You not only get a new car but a 5 year 160,000 km warranty and with the dollar, it is just as cheap if not cheaper in Canada now as it is in the US. Also, you won't have to do all that much in the way of mods to get the same horsepower you are getting now.
Go buy the C6 and you'll come back to the C5 Z06. Not bashing the C6 but two very different cars you are comparing. Also what is your driving preference? Just lay back and cruise or rip the tires? The fact that you modded the Z06 tells me you like to drive hard and fast and the C5 Z06 will be the better venue compared to if your looking at a vert. Either way good luck.
Thanks for all your input guys , I have untill November 30th to decide , I'm thinking of just keeping my Z06 , and maybe in a fiew years pick up a clean used C6 Z06 or vert, but keep mine at the same time.. I know I'l regret losing my Z..can't live with that.
Well with the low miles on yours you obviously are like me and only drive it when the weather is good, so that being said what is nicer than cruising while the weather is nice with the top off? Me personally,I would not own a fixed roof vehicle as my toy! If it is in your budget get the vert and make it smoke a Z06!!

That's the way to do it! My long term plan is to keep my C5 and get a C6. I just couldn't imagine ever parting with my C5, it's been extremely good to me (it's going to roll over 100,000 miles tomorrow morning!)
extend the stables (get a bigger Garage)
then buy the c6 vert!!
Keep everyone happy!!!
Don't do it, keep the Z. Drove a buddies 07 coupe for a couple of hours, he drove my 02 Z. 07 was nice, but not the same. Didn't seem like I was driving a Vette. Matter of fact, he liked my car better than his.
Keep the Z and look for a deal on a 2003 / 2004 vert; enjoy the best of both worlds. Yeah, you don't get the 1.9% financing, but rates are pretty low right now anyway.
There are some great deals on C5 verts; I say keep the Z and invest $30M in a C5 vert.

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Test drive an 08 first and see how you like it. Yes, it is smoother than the C5 Z, the Z does have a more raw race-car like feel, but remember you also can't compare a modded car to a stock one. You can then have the convertible you want for summer cruising.
The C6 is indeed still a Corvette, and an LS3 with headers alone will put out around 410hp to the wheels.

I definatly Love both the C6 and C5 , yes they are both very different, but in good ways, so realy I cant go wrong with either , so I'l just keep mine then hopefully in a couple of years get a C6 vert, or Z. Thats if the new Camaro SS doesent catch my eye..
