well,,,,still thinking about Carlisle,,,,and decided to make a dash to meet Mo on I-75,,,,,,sort of,,,I will be at the north end when he is at the south end,
Will be about a 1000 mile trip,,,leaving tomorrow (wedn) for the UP of Michigan to check out the (sorry) snowmobile trails,,,,,,,

Vale Inco have been on strike most of the summer -- I was surprised last weekend to see nothing come from the big stack while driving up to visit relatives.
That and I was more surprised to see that the little smoke-stacks are disappearing. Thought they had 3 or 4, but now there is only one left.

Big Nickel picture looks familiar, but I had a C5 in the shot.
Vale Inco have been on strike most of the summer -- I was surprised last weekend to see nothing come from the big stack while driving up to visit relatives.
That and I was more surprised to see that the little smoke-stacks are disappearing. Thought they had 3 or 4, but now there is only one left.

well we rolled in last yesterday,,,,,and to my surprise someone close to me as an unsecured wireless connection,,,,,,,if I find out whom it is I will give them some money,,,,,,
first thing to do was check the fire alarm,,,,,,
then remembered what mosquito's are like in da U.P. ,
this is the Soo Edison power canal,I have never seen it so full and moving so fast,,,,,had to be 20 mph,,
this is downtown Soo Michigan,
there is a new State tax here and this is the collectors,,,
2 miles further along was another one on the opposite side of the road,,,,,,there was 4 in total,,,,,,,do not,,,I repeat,,,do not speed in this State,,,you will get popped,,I have been coming here for 20 yrs and never seen anything like this before,,,,,
This is the old Raco military airfield,Smither's cold testing has had it for 15 or more years,,,,,we have had a lot of fun here in the past,,,,3 1-1/2 mile runways,
it is getting run down know,they leave a lot of gravel on it,,
the finally destination,,,
