Default Corsa question

Hey guys, I am finally back in the fold and really excited about my C6 Z06. I can't wait to get back out on some of the cruises and make it to some get togethers as well but I'm kinda embarassed about the stock exhaust I have

This is where I need some help from you guys. I am looking to upgrade to a Corsa Extreme cat back and need to know the best place to get my hands on one for a decent price of course. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks use2bl8 I'll check with them.

Thanks Zippy, from the research so far, I can agree with you on this. I look forward to the upgrade.

I don't believe they make the Corsa Extreme for the Z06, it's only for the LS2 and LS3.

I agree...the fuse is no real solution to the sorry excuse for an exhaust on this great car. Hopefully I'll get this resolved sooner than later.

Believe it or not, I'm back to the stock pipes. The Corsa sounded amazing, but it was already installed on the car when I bought it from the first owner and it hadn't been installed properly. Couldn't really tell except when I was at the track really honking on it, the thing would rattle in the tunnel all day long - drove me nuts. Took it to a couple shops, including dealership, and they would tighten it, but never really could fix it 100%. Sold it to Steve, he polished it up nice and he hasn't had any problems I don't think, even at the track. Just one of those things with my specific car, I guess.

I'd like to go aftermarket again, but haven't had a chance to research the other choices, yet.

Think we found why it was rattling for ya.. the drivers side exhaust clap over the axle is very difficult to get at,,there is actually a hole in the lower suspension so you can get a long extension up to it.. depending on the patience of the installer it might not have been torqued enough.

Took us 3 tries to get it.. thought we had it,, then after driving a few days I noticed the drivers side tips weren't aligned with the passenger
side and it had come loose,,,, so takes some trying to get it right but once done,, no problems..

Makes sense. Well, at least I get to hear it on your car, which is a nice consolation prize.

Rubin, I am home tomorrow and you can listen to my exhaust. I did not know the guy had installed an exhaust system. Thought it was just headers but he did the entire deal!

That sucks man but hopefully you'll remedy it too...man the choices out there are just insane. I had B&B bullets on my last Z06 and loved them but I was not crazy about the drone. I really need to hear some Corsa's in person so that I can make my mind up
