Tint

09 vert tint....Iam ready to tint her up...dam this shoulda been done long ago lol....lazy

Iam using NTD Window tint in Glanbrook...near Hamilton. Any of you used or heard any thing about them?

Guy... say Matallic tint is the best...so I guess thats what I want lol.

Dam thou...he wants 280 just to tint a vert with matallic...seems high...He also says these 3 windows will take 3 hours to complete...I remember the days when it took 1 hour for a hole 5 window car.

Any info on tint would be great.

I paid $400 and it took him over 5 hours to get it the way he wanted. The rear glass is where all the work is.

My friend just got a ticket for tinted windows while driving through Alberta. His windows have legal Ontario tint. He said that to the officer, and his reply was that his partner was from Ontario and he says they are illegal

. They also ticketed him for 10 kph over the limit. Sounds like a great way to treat tourists.

With the introduction of the new cell phone laws, more people are having there windows tinted dark. If this becomes an issue to which the police cannot see who is driving, these tickets will become for frequent. If you get charged for having your tint 2 dark, it's mainly because it's an officer safety issue.

So think light!

Just a thought for you guys......

I paid $250 to have my c5 done by tint king out of guelph.... took about 4 hours.. did a great job

In ON:

You can tint the back window as dark as you want it.
You just must have 2 side mirrors.

The door windows can only be tinted so that the officer can still see you.
Generally tint shops would recommend 35% tint.

I have on my G8:
Front Doors: 35% tint
Rear Doors & rear window: Limo 5% tint
(I also have back-up sensors in my rear bumper to aid me in reversing.)
