Looks interesting - I wonder how expensive it is... not a do-it-yourself deal it seems...you should have it done and we can all come over to you place for the party to check it out

I sent them an email to see if there are any installers in the GTA, interested to see the cost of having my garage done.

When it comes to coatings, the prep is FAR more important then the application. If you follow the letter of the "law"... If you've ever had a drop of oil hit your concrete, the surface "should" be blasted or ground down.. Otherwise you will have issues with almost any coating epoxy or not. Concrete is porous, It absorbs things. And this can lead to contamination, thus peeling or cracking.
Not just saying this because i sell other types of products available for garages (though it s nice side note!!) But hate seeing people having all this time money and invested in a product that long term can be disappointing. Just saying really take the time to do your homework. Acid washing is NOT Sufficent for new coatings.
By the way... I do have a race deck type product now available... super amazing product clicks together over any type of floor. Retails at $2.50 sf! and anyone can install it.

Here's the email I received today:
"Hi Ray
We do not have any installers in Ontario (Toronto). We are looking for a distributor to offset high shipping costs to dealers (from our Headquarters in Vancouver).
Thanks for your interest in Iron Man Coatings.

As I said....we don't yet have a distributor in place in the Toronto area, we are actively searching for one. I guess the installers in GTA prefer to use an inferior product and save a few bucks on shipping costs....too bad for the home owners

So their product is better than anything else currently being installed on the market and yet they can't find an installer to take on the product here in the GTA?
Their website indicates coverage for Toronto (and Kitchener and Monrteal (sic)...)

...total BS. No one in their right mind would ignore a market as big as Toronto.

We are actively searching an appropriate candidate, and I will post here as soon we have somebody in place.

When I was searching for a new floor for my garage, I looked at Line-X which appears to be a similar coating. Line-X are well known for their spray-in truck bed liners. I have it in my F150 and it is great. This stuff quickly went to the top of my list, but then I found out that it was also the most expensive. There are suppliers in the GTA area. You can check it out here:

I ended up choosing Allure and so far so good. It was about 20% of the price.

The cost was >$6.00 / sq. ft.
If I remember correctly, there was no warranty. The Allure I put down has a lifetime warranty in residential applications. Just give one of the GTA Line-X dealers a call and they will give you a ballpark figure. They would have to see your garage to be more specific. The prep time for one of these floors is what costs the money. I am guessing that most floors would have to be ground down a little to ensure that the product adheres. I know in my case it would have had to be because the builder applied a sealer to the concrete when the floor went down. Subsequently I applied epoxy (never again). Etching will not remove stuff like that.
