Purchasing a USA Grand Sport
Looking to buy a red Grand Sport convertible with heritage package. From what I understand I cannot buy a new one. Any help you can give me would be appreciated in getting a GS back to Canada. I can buy a new GS convertible in USA for around $ 60,000.00 on sale lots out there. Harder to get a used one with the colour and option I want.

Safety Car
Gary and Nancy Bishs bought a new one last year. Not sure if they're still on vacation but I believe there forum name is Bishs, or something to that effect.
Haven't been on the forum much lately and my mind isn't what it used to be.

I think he bought his through a friend in the US as GM can't sell direct to Canadians.
Edit: here's the thread that he posted in about his buy: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/cana...ette-from.html

Try Cooper Corvettes in Virginia. Its an hour south of DC
I bought one from them and on my second, they acted as a drop off when I bought it privately.
Perhaps they could buy it from the dealer, then sell it to you with a small commission for handling the deal. Maybe the car does not have to move from the dealer's lot.
