I had mine at the dealer for some other warranty related stuff last fall, while it was there I had them change the wheel alignment so it was less aggressive,,,it was a 100 bucks for the fronts,,,not sure if that is inline with a private shop or not?
Sounds like what I'm looking for but it seems he is too busy for me to be able to work something out.
Anyone have other suggestions?
Sounds like my experience a few years ago when I took my Firebird to him for an alignmnet. Told me his machine was broken. When I asked when it would be fixed, he said it wouldn't be!
Made it clear he did not want to work on my car!!!
BTW, that car had a lot of custom suspension peices as I competed in Solo II and tracked the car on a regular basis. One of the things I wanted checked and adjusted was corner weighting (adjustabel ride height at each corner)
No suggestions however as to where else you take your car.
If you want fairly even tire wear for a street driven car then go with very little camber, like around 0.2 to 0.4 degrees. Maybe 0.2 on the rear and 0.4 on the front. running close to 1 degree will cause extra wear the inside edges of the tires.
I've been running that type of camber and 30psi front/28psi rear cold and my tire wear has been very good. I think I'll hit around 35k km on my rear PS2's before replacing them. Front wear is looking very good too.

Scott @ Can-Alignment is a great guy, and definitely knows how to setup a car. If he says he's "busy", it probably means he really is busy! AFAIK, he's a one-man-show. Keep in mind, he sets up A LOT of race cars, and at this time of the year, in particular, everybody is getting their race/track cars setup for the season . Just saying, I wouldn't take it personally if he says he's busy .
All that being said, I think if you took the Pfadt specs to any decent shop, they should be able to setup your car for you and get it right ... the problem with your car's handling doesn't sound good at all! Good luck, and hope you get it sorted out.

Not for anything sounds like your getting know where fast. You need to get into your car and take a drive over to port perry. There's a guy there that will do whatever alignment you want and he dosen't even put the car on a rack. Now is that sick or what. I will pm you the info.
I have to think there is an alignment shop closer then 2 hours. I'm sure I'll find one in the Yellowpages. I was just hoping some one had experience in the Barrie area.

Interesting... I called him a few years ago to get an alignment on my SVT Cobra (that had quite a bit of suspension mods done). He started questioning me about the mods-suggesting that the set-up was no good then basically said he didn't want to spend time on a car that wouldn't be competitive?!?
BTW The suspension was from Maximum Motorsports, one of the biggest names in 'Stang suspension and was still going strong 5 years after install...
I kinda labelled him an A**-hole after that and moved on. Sounds like if you can GET him to work on your car he'll do a great job but his attitude on the phone was annoying to say the least.
This may sound crazy but I've had good luck at Wilson Niblett. They let me go back and see the current specs while the car was on the rack then set it as close as they could to what ever I wanted (which was definitely OUTSIDE factory specs)... just my experience

Well it was the middle of the summer as I recall, and I WENT to his shop to talk to him in person.
He was kind of rude to me, made it clear that his alignment machine was broken and would not be fixed.
You can interpret that however you want, but I took it personally as did my wife who was with me. I've written him off and moved on.
BTW, like Coedvette, the suspension on my car was sourced from some of the big names in the business........Global West, BMR and Spohn.
