Many of you may have seen my thread asking for help to fix the ignition lock cyl for my best friend a little while back, though I was able to get it fixed he didn't get to use the truck again. Just before I headed off on vacation I attended a celebration of his life and his mom & dad gave me his pride & joy a 73 RS/Z28 L82/M22 4spd. it needs restoration but I hope one day to return it to the way it was when he 1st bought it.

Just the kick in the a$$ I needed to finish my 73 coupe

Wow man, your ign lock questions were just a month ago. I really like your phrase "celebration of his life" however that moment seems to have passed quickly. My condolences.
Best of luck (and progress!) with your two '73s. Look forward to seeing 3P (progress pics posted!)

Thanks everyone
It will be a tough (emotional) restoration but I really wanted to do this to remember him. His mom & dad are still lost over this, about a month before my lock cyl help thread we were working side by side and then in the matter of 2 1/2 months he was gone.
Will get some pictures up when I get home from Maine
