Camaro ZL1 Gets 580 Horsepower

The 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 will be the most-powerful production Camaro ever, achieving 580 horsepower from its all-aluminum supercharged 6.2-liter V8 as well as 556 pound-feet of torque, Chevrolet confirmed today.

The LSA is the Supercharged V-8 from the V-series Cadillac. A slight power bump from the 556HP CTS-V. The ZR-1 sports a LS9 Supercharged mill.

Yep, since the GTO is gone we need people to wreck more Camaro's so the yards can get loaded up on parts.
