C6 Shift **** top removal
Thought I would share this
I was told that the top cap was glued and thought I would try to get it off. My wife tried to put her finger nail under it and it she was able too so I tried a small flat head screw driver and it came off
So NO it's NOT GLUED on!!! There is a retainer ring that holds it on.
Finished product
Use a small flat head screw driver under the top and gently go around prying the top off.
The plastic chrome ring twists off.
The finished product again.
DVS make a great product, no question, but this one bit of info is missing.
