Default Stacking Vettes...

What's the minimum height to stack two Vettes?

Buying a house this week and taking the size of a garage into my decision.... Planning for additions to my stable.

Thanks.

Easily fit two with a 10ft ceiling. Vette is approx 48 inch without antenna (c5) tall go 52 inches for arguement sake.

Heres my 12 ft ceiling garage. Sort of hard to see because of the seadoo but you get the idea.

I would say 8'6". My 1969 Camaro right now sits atop my wifes Vette. My florescent lights are at 9"6". The Camaro is around 10" from the lights and it has to be at least 6" taller than the Vette and the Vette is about 4" from the bottom of the lift. My problem is the overhead door, I am 1/2" from the door.

The easiest way is to measure both cars and add 4 inches, I am thinking 8 and a half feet will work for 2 vettes.

Give me a ring and you can come buy (my Vette is parked on my hoist all the time). We can just raise it up, and drive yours under.

I'd also say around 8' 6" to 9' but you might not get an opener on a single door at 8' 6". I was measuring at one time and figured 2 Vettes would fit my garage at about 8' 6" but nothing else would fit under the Vette.

Damn low ceilings. About 12' would be much better to store one and work on another below it.
