I think I may shed a tear. What a beauty, it has to be seen in person to be truly appreciated.
I'd say Good Luck but I know you won't need it. I only hope you do get back into another Vette soon, unlike.........................

Greg/Guys, thanks for all the comments...greatly appreciated. It was a tough decision to come to this conclusion but I am ready for a new chapter. And Greg, while it would break my heart to see this , if someone blinged this down, it would make a great track rat! 483 at the wheels and amazing torque!
And Mike, you had to spoil it, didn't you!!
Les, thanks for your interest...I am in the midst of finalizing the mod sheet on the car but sent you a message just the same. For some who don't know the car, here is the 40,000 foot overview
- 2000 Coupe
- Stroked LS2 (402) with Harrop intake (13K on new engine - assembled by Virginia Speed). Forged pitions, 42lb injectors, new balanced crank, Lingenfelter heads/cam, new high performance oil and water pump, etc...you get the picture...engine is new (and despite power, car still gets 27MPG on the highway at cruising speed)
- Car was tuned by Chuck CoW
- Throttle response on this car is like no other you've seen (just ask Big Mike)
- Car has never seen a track (yes, I know I'm gonna take heat for that )
- CCW 505's with new Nitto INvo's (all 4 have less that 4K on them)
- Magnaflow exhaust with high flow cats
- Molded rear break ducts and shaved door handles (car has one extra popper in the unlikely event one goes)
- Crossdrilled rotors (car comes with an extra set of Brand new GM pads) Bought them in Carlisle and existing pads don't need replacing so the set comes with the car
- new BCM installed in 2009 All electronics includeing diagnostic systems work fine...no gremlins
- Put in a in-dash Navigation system several years ago
- Carbon covered consel, rear splash guards, windshield cowl
- Bilstein shocks and Hotchkis sway bars front and back
- Corvette Essential steering wheel and other interior components
- Air is still ice cold
- Bi-Xenon headlights and new corning lamps with led strips installed this year...amazing illumination at night! Also, I replaced both headlight motors (GM parts) last year...one was getting lazy and the other was really sluggish so I replaced them both...have the old ones in the box
Regarding the "new" chapter...lots of options to consider and it should make for a fun winter scavanger exercise...but regardless of the marque, will always be part of this forum...the car was a chapter...the friendships are the real story

2021 C6 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Very sad to see your car go Mo, but the new owner will be one lucky dude! (or dudette!)
As anyone can tell you, this is one unique Vette, with very tasteful and AWESOME mods done to it! Has to be seen (and heard!) to be appreciated.
Good luck with the sale and don't be a stranger.

When you decide to sell it, be sure to post a price and list it the C5's for sale section. That's one unique C5!

Thanks for all the comments...you guys are the best.
So people have been asking me about the price and what the car has...so here it goes
The asking price is $34,500
Here is the high level view of what was invested in the car and what you'd be getting...
New Stroked LS2 Engine built by Virginia Speed with Harrop ITB and Lingenfelter LS6 Heads/Cam - $16,221 (473 RWHP) Less than 11K on the new power plant - never tracked
Velocity Stacks and Race filters - $600
Chuck CoW tune - $800 (6 hours to tune the car)
CCW Rims and New Nitto Invo tires - $4,200 (tires have less than 4K)
Body - C5 Stinger Hood, shaved door handles, molded and painted rear brake ducts, Carravaggio spoiler - $3,350
Bi-xenon lights & clear corner lamps with LED strip - $930
2 brand new GM Headlight motors - $568
Bilstein shocks and Hotchkis sway bars - $750
In-dash NAV system with radio/CD player (Can Play movies while you drive) - $1,200
Carbon covered rear splash guards, interior consel and windshield faring - $940
Vette Essential Steering wheel and interior pieces - $1,289
Recent Maintenance:
- New Coils/wires and plugs (Sept 2012) $1,300
- New Lingenfelter Fuel Pump (Sept 2012) $700
- New FR Wheel Hub (April 2012) $735
- Tranny/Rear Diff Fluid service - (April 2012) $400
- New Delco Battery (April 2012) $225
- New GM Body Control Module (July 2010) $1,400
- New Brake pads come with the car - bought them and didn't need to use them
(receipts for all the above work and maintenance)
BTW, the car has all its original glass It's an A-4 with 3.42 gears I had installed about 5 years ago
Early C5 Z06's are going for around the same price as what I'm asking for.
As others have said, this car is definately unique and I get that it may not be everyone's cup of tea but if you are interested...send me a PM and we can take it from there
