Purchasing from the States.
Anyone overcome these obstacles before?
Do I have to go to the States to get that?
If it works and I can do it locally.

It's frustrating when some Dealers offer one price when it's being sold to a U.S. residence and being paid in U.S. funds and shipped to the U.S. address When I do the exact same thing, paying with PayPal, in U.S. funds and they shipped to a U.S. address but they find out I'm Canadian, they ask that I go through the internation section and the price is normally 40% higher even though I'm requesting it be shipped to CBI or a Niagara Falls NY, address, that makes no sense to me and that's what I'm trying to avoid. They told me the only way to not be charged the extra 40% is if I use a U.S. credit card or U.S. Paypal accound with a U.S. address. In other words, they want be to be American.
Any other suggestions?

Now, I went to paypal to try and pretend I'm a U.S. resident by changing my address to a CBI, but was rejected because my TD Bank specifies that I don't live in the States and my address is different than what is registered with my Bank. It's easy to change the default Ebay address, but not my bank account address in PayPal. I called PayPal and they told me that my confirmed PayPal address has to match what's on file at my bank since I use a TD Canada Trust chequing account to pay for my PayPal purchases.
Sorry to keep repeating myself, but if I can change my Paypal confirmed chequing account address, not my Ebay address, then how do I do it since Paypal told me it can't be done? Or am I missing something, sorry for the frustration, but either I'm clueless or I don't know how to explain myself.
EDIT:
I just went to Paypal and I have 3 addresses,
1. Confirmed Canadian address that matches my TD bank chequing account
2. Alternate U.S. Address for shipping purposes
2. Another alternate U.S. address for shipping purposes.
I tried to delete my confirmed PayPal address so there is no Candian address in my Paypal account and it would default to one of my U.S. address and it stated, "you cannot remove your home confirmed address". I then tried to edit the address since I'm unable to delete it and there is no option to allow for a U.S. country, it won't allow me to change it to anywhere outside of Canada as there is no drop down Country option other then Canada. What am I missing?

Do you have any relatives or friends in the US? Transfer them the money and have them pay the vendor. Still ship to CBI as you originally planned.
The OP says he uses TD Bank. TD has many branches in the US now. I would be calling TD to get any assistance as we're just tossing stuff out right now.
The reason I'm posting is I know it can be done, I just don't know how to do it and I need more info before going back into the bank if that's my only way.
