Ahhh the open road!
Good fuel economy is perhaps the only benefit of keeping to near the posted speed limits.

I've driven across Hwy 11 once and although it's quicker to Thunder Bay than Hwy 17 and less prone to sudden animal crossings, I usually choose Hwy 17 for the scenery. The views of Lake Superior are simply breathtaking! At least for me since southern AB is really lacking when it comes to large bodies of water.

Nice pics!
I saw a record number of Vettes on my "East to West to East" trip this year ... and a few Z06's too boot!
Too bad we didn't cross paths on our trips.

Gotta love to be able to just stop in the middle of no where and take pics without any traffic to worry about.
Beautiful pics.

Yeah! Let me know the next time you're out here. (Although I'll be moving back to Toronto late this year.)
BTW, we met at the BMW Trillium club ADT last September.
