Her motor was stroked out a couple of years ago, after the timing chain finally let go after 250,000 kms. So now she produces about 50 more HP than my Z06!

She's been through about a dozen sets of tires over the years, from the OEM Good Years, to the Toyo Proexes T1R's, Michelin PS2 and PS2 ZP's.

Most of the panels have been replaced over the years from on/off track experiences ... although I think the trunk lid is still OEM

Overall, she's been a great car!

I am buying an 05 Z51 next week with 37000 on it. If you have time can you tell me what tires were best bang for the buck sort to speak? Car will be mainly street with the odd trip to the rd courses.

I am thinking headers, cai and a tune and hopefully 385 rwhp if possible.....
