Default 93 Octane

Who still sells 93 Octane fuel? Last year when I was in Ohio I could get 93 almost anywhere and regularly filled up with 93 at Shell. all I can find in the Hamilton/Grimsby area is 91 octane

I'll try to check out the Husky station in Grimsby, they were supposed to have 94. On our recent trip to Florida & back, 93 was at every gas stop.

Looks like there are a couple of Petro Can in your area selling 94. My vette runs better with Shell 91 (no ethanol) than the Petro Can 94 (with ethanol).

No they don't.

All reciprocating aircraft engines use universal grade 100LL fuel.

Most Petro Can stations that were formerly Sunoco Staions should have up to Ultra 94

The Sunoco that I used to go to is now a Husky, they were split up quite a bit.

As far as 94 octane goes, most Petros seem to have it. Its all I really put in my z06.

In Grimsby the Sunoco was torn down and a Canadian Tire gas bar put in its place, the Petro in town became a Husky (Still a Petro at the welcome center). Kind of moot though as Petro, Husky and Sunoco are all part of Suncor

When Suncor bought Petro Canada downstream assets and Sunoco service stations were branded over as Petor Canada for the most part as there are way more PC service stations and they were Canada-wide whereas Sunoco (in Canada at least) was Ontariocentiric. Especially after they swapped their Quebec stations for most of Ultramar's Ontario stations. The other brands that were formerly Sunoco and didn't become Petro Can were made that way because of anti-competition rules. There is no Petro Canada refinery in Ontario, only Suncor Sarnia. The former Petro Canada refinery in Montreal is no Suncor also. Shell and Esso have refineries in Sarnia and Esso is in Nanticoke also. But as I said before, former Sunoco's now Petro Cans should have Ultra 94.

Here in BC all Chevrons have 94 octane. Straight gas, no alcohol.
