Default Salt???

Has anybody had any luck in finding bagged salt at any retailer in the past week? I have been looking around and so far have not found a single bag. I am close to Bayview/Hwy.7. TIA

Default Salt

Go to Beaver Valley Stone at Langstaff and Yonge. They supply private salt trucks and open 24 hrs during snow conditions. They have both bulk and bags. Maybe call first re bags (416) 222-2424.

It is a pretty neat place in general.

Today at Canadian Tire in Richmond Hill (Hwy 7 & between Yonge and Bayview) they had lots of bags of salt and also 50 lb bags magnesium chloride ice melter.

I think the prices were a bit steep, but everyone has to make a buck.

Picked some up at this location this morning, but it was going fast, people were buying minimum 3 bags.
Nobody seems to want to get caught without any, especially with the looming snow storm this weekend.

Thanks again.

They now say some of that precipitation is going to fall as freezing rain. Yikes, not again!
