Spring Delay...
Decided to go with a new cam and complete valve assembly. The original nylon timing gear was in it and after 40 years, the chain had over an inch of play. Waiting on parts...

Geeze.. I just sold my 02 to a Nappa guy from Victoria.
I just wanted to keep it stock so had Comp make me up a package with cam, springs, lifters, rods, and the rest of the stuff. I said stock and they said go four points up on duration so that is what it will get. The old cam has over an eighth of an inch of wear but the mains and rods are perfect. I was really surprised at that.
