Hey folks, my fiancee and I want to visit the corvette museum for its 20th anniversary celebrations. We plan to take a week off and drive down there and wondering if anyone else made the trip and can offer recommendations on cities to visit along the way as we've never visited anything that side of the border.

Just went down last week, lots of stuff to do within 2 hours of Bowling Green.

Nashville
Cave tour
Tail of the Dragon (3.5 hrs)

There is also a drag strip about 5 miles from the Museum---usually run a full event every weekend!!!

The Corvette Museum also has route maps of the routes that they typically run, you can use them for self guided tours (that's what they have in store for the 2014 Caravan anyway)
Most of the roads (back roads included) in that area are paved pretty well so don't miss taking some back road trips as they have some of the best scenery.
