Who's already on the road ?
Over the last week or so seen a few Vette's out there, today saw a convertible C5 in Pickering
I keep my eye on the roads to see when the salt is all gone, for now Sleeping Beauty is still tucked in.
Mind you first day I take the Beast out, first is a bath and then to get all the fluids changed

I've had mine out for two weeks now, I've already driven it to work 4 times. Oakville is salt free

You really drive all winter ???
mine has an aluminum chassis but I still can't think of taking it out, maybe those 325 tires
I just picked up a new deck for it today (early birthday gift to myself), grabbed the new Pioneer App radio (my father talked me into giving him my Pioneer Z150 deck a month ago for his truck). Curious how this one will work

Me personally, if I'm going to store it all winter to avoid the salt/sand then to bring it out a couple weeks before the roads are truly clean then I don't see a point.
Back in the day I had an 81 Z28 that caught fire in my garage and it was sent to the body shop for strip down and repair. This is where I saw the dismantled and I can tell you that salt gets into every nook and cranny of the car, areas you will never see or be able to clean.
Once again, the thoughts expressed above are mine and mine only.

I've had the itch for a while to get out, but have resisted.
Even if the roads are salt free, gotta wait until it warms up a bit. Oil never gets to temperature when it's this cold outside, and I hate running the Z at high oil pressures. Hopefully another couple of weeks and it'll be good to go. Until then, she's still in hibernation.
God...these are one of the few times I wish I lived in Cali.

March has been great in that regards. Been driving now for 2 weeks straight. Had to stop Wed/Thu and Fri cause of the rain. But back driving today and tomorrow.

I don't blame you guys for not wanting to get salt on your cars, as I am the same way, however the roads are pretty much completely salt free right now. Sure, some parking lots and private properties might still have a lot of salt, but the main roads and highways have none. Stick to those and you'll be fine.

Liquid salt truck went through parts of Ajax a couple days ago! This means quite a few rain falls and hopefully double digit temperatures in the next three weeks before the cover comes off!
Out of all you guys, I'm probably itching the most to get my car out since I only had the pleasure of driving it for half a day after I bought her, then right to storage.
Looking forward to my first summer with the beast!
