Does anyone have a code reader in the west end of Toronto?
Wondering if someone could do me a favor and check the code on my 2006 Corvette C6 Coupe, please. (Yes, I know I should have one, I'm looking into it).
Background:
May 6, re-connected battery, started it and taken for a 20 km drive.
May 8, drove 20 km, stopped, restarted and CEL came on. Drove 20 km home.
May 10, took it to WN, oil change done and they did ECU update, this of course cleared the CEL ...drove home and no issue.
May 16, took it for a 10 km drive, stopped, restarted and CEL came on. Drove it 10km home.
The CEL is solid, not flashing. no driveability issues, 40,000 kms, Never had CEL before. Mods: Haltech Killer Bee Intake and GHL Race Series Axle-Back exhaust. Never had it tuned. Ultra 94 fuel only. Gas cap is tighter than (insert your favourite simile here).
I was hoping if someone could check the codes before I take it 1 hr back to WN. If it's something exhaust-related I'd rather just buy new high-flow cats and headers, than replace stock.

I have one, and multimeter to check battery. If you're out for a cruise up through Orangeville area you're welcome to use them pull the codes and go from there.

If the above doesn't work out, I'm in Brampton and can scan it for you.
Also, all partsource locations will scan the code for free. Very helpful if you're out and about without access to a scanner.

Thank you to everyone who stepped up and offered a scan. I really appreciate. Truly a brotherhood (and sisterhood) of Corvette owners.
GDH was kind enough to scan it and check my battery. Turns out it is a P0171 (System Too Lean Bank 1) code.
Headed to WN tomorrow to be fixed. Hoping it's just an O2 sensor.
Pray for my soul.

You should go to Champion Motors as it will be cheaper and done correctly.

I was a more than happy to have been able to help and a it was a pleasure to have met you. What a beautiful C6 you have! It is like you just drove it off the showroom floor. Interesting to find out about your father's and my Ivey old school tie. Let us know how it turns out today.

You can get ELM327 readers (connects to your phone via bluetooth) for under $20 on ebay or Aliexpress. Combine it with an app like Torque to read codes, and it can also display tons of parameters in real time while you drive your car.
