Saturday Morning GTG in the GTA ... Summer Locations
Phil the Porsche guy set up this Saturday Morning GTG a few years back, and it's for all sports cars and exotics to meet up, and chit chat.
There was a fair number of Corvettes that use to attend this GTG, but the numbers have dwindled, and some of the newer guys might not know about it ... so come on out on a Saturday morning, and say "Hi!" ... normally runs from 10A until 12P ... depending on everyone's "HoneyDo List"
It runs every Saturday year round ... During the Summer, they host it a two different locations ... Wild Goose Restaurant (Even Saturdays on the Calendar) and Chapters (Odd Saturdays on the Calendar) ... during the winter, it's an indoor meet up at Artisano's (see below)
here is Phil's post from the Rennlist...

Because of the success and popularity of last year's (2016) alternating locations, we are going to continue to do this for the foreseeable future. Last year's format made it more accessible for new people to join and that's really the point of these meets. The GTG has spawned many friendships over the years, and served as a good meeting point for drives too, so let's continue in 2017...our 11th year!
Summer location meets start the 2nd (weather permitting) or 3rd Saturday in April. Exact start date will be posted in a separate thread.
Both locations are within easy access of major highways and can provide a good start point for Fun Runs afterwards.
UPDATE: Instead of posting exact dates for each location, I've decided to simply alternate on even or odd numbered dates. There will be a couple of times when the same location is used consecutively, but it will all work out in the end quite equitably. Just keep a note on your smartphone as to which location is even and which is odd.
If you don't know what even and odd numbers are, then you should've paid more attention in math class!
EVEN NUMBERED CALENDAR DATE SATURDAYS: The Wild Goose Restaurant
5395 Eglinton Ave W, Etobicoke , ON M9C 5K6
This is a nice restaurant with a very private lot. There is also a terrace where you can sit and have breakfast/lunch. Over the years, a number of us have gone there after the GTG to grab a bite to eat. The owner has expressed enthusiasm for having a bunch of Porsche customers show up on regular basis. Glenn is going to see how serious the owner was about opening up a little earlier for coffee. Important: They do not offer take out coffee cups, so please bring your own travel mugs!
ODD NUMBERED CALENDAR DATE SATURDAYS: Chapter's/Starbucks
3050 Vega Blvd, Mississauga, ON L5L 5X8
This is where Terry's SOLHA (Southern Ontario Long Hood Association) meets have been happening. 1 block east of the 403 / Dundas interchange on the North side . (West of Winston Churchill)
Nice patio area and plenty of excellent parking . This location is easily accessible from either the QEW, 403,
401, Dundas , as well as the 407. Let's check it out and see if we can reunite all the generations once again!
We will return to our winter location on the first Saturday in November.
The winter location is Artisano's Bakery and Café located at the corner of Islington and Titan.
Here is a link with a map and all other pertinent info:http://www.artisanobakery.com/LOCATIONS/islington.asp
There is plenty of parking, great coffee and food and lots of seating inside.
The time stays the same at 10 am until whenever.
