Default Electrical Issues On My 2006 C6 Vert

Good morning everyone.
looking for some help with electrical issues.

Last Friday evening I stopped for gas and a bunch of things happened.

1st: Could not open the door.
2nd: Power windows won't work
3rd: Convertible top will not go up or down
4th: Power locks won't work
5th: Power gas door won't open
6th: Power trunk does not work.

I installed a new AC Delco battery yesterday, which did not solve any issues.

The car will start and run, but all of these other issues, have me stumped.

Has anyone ever run into these type of problems?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hey Mark.

I encounter similar issues with my '05 once in a while. It's like the FOB doesn't work to open the doors, open the trunk, although I've never had the power top or windows not work.

Strange really though. I have to use the key to open the trunk to open the driver door. Once that is done, the FOB miraculously starts working again. Even the button under the dash to open the trunk won't work sometimes, but as soon as I open it with the key, it all starts working again. I figure it's one of those first year gremlins or the many wifi **** in our air that interferes or whatever. Since removing my dash cam and dash mounted NAV unit, no more FOB not detected errors though.

Thanks Stan. I've tried the trunk lock thing, and it does not reset. Ive also tried both fobs, still a no go!

If you had the traction control code come up, I suggest you invest in buying the connector reinforcement part from GM and inserting into the connector under the steering column. A cheap investment that can't hurt

Mark if the partition in the trunk is not on properly and not making the end switch the roof will not do anything. I dont know if it affects the other stuff put have a look it is making the switch.

Also don't forget to Re Index the windows by holding the power switches up for 3 sec when you have this solved.

Ah yes that dreaded switch. Which is why I no longer use the partition. I used a tie wrap to keep the switch pressed in so that wouldn't be an ongoing issue. Thought I had a picture of it but I don't. I can post one up later so you can see what I mean.

Good luck.
