They are calling for 10-15mm of rain on Monday in Oakville and 8C, and another 15-20mm on Tuesday and 12C. I think that should clean things up quite nicely

I'd agree, about 45 good days of driving left.
260km yesterday.

Just took mine out for a nice spin on the highway. The roads are pretty clean here so I think I'll take it out again tomorrow, I'm taking my son to the car show and it's pretty rare that I've been able to drive the Corvette downtown for this one since it's always in February. Gotta take advantage of the nice weather!

Been down with the flu this weekend. Heading to Kapuskasing for the second week of March. Getting miles in there. 300-400 per day easy, if not more

Brian, when does the ice breaker usually make the first pass through?

Sorry to hear you've been down brother. Just got back from a run up to Parry Sound for lunch with the boys. +2C and cloudy, but no rain - not even misty, so I'll take it. No threat of seeing the CCGS Griffon for quite a while my friend. We were up the north side of Giant's Tomb on Saturday, and the Indians fishing up there said there was close to 24". That stretch between Giant's Tomb and Cognashene pretty much dictates our season. Once she drops below about 8" Canadian Steamship Lines will post on their Lay-up List when they're gonna pull the Frontenac out of Midland bay, as she winters here.

We usually get a report of that info from Georgian Bay Snowriders, and usually within a couple to three weeks they're sending a breaker our way. We've had real late seasons where they've sent in the Yanks with they're bigger boats to break up **** that was still over a foot thick....pretty impressive.

We'll probably have a few days in April to get a ride out to Beausoleil Island at least. I'll keep you in the loop, but as it stands right now, just south of Huntsville has the only green trails close to us......so why even bother when I'm three blocks to the bay.

With all the rain the roads are definitely clear of salt now, so hopefully a lot of you take advantage of the nice weather we're going to have from today through Wednesday. Winter is definitely losing the battle to spring right now!

I drove mine this morning and will definitely have it out a lot more in the coming days! I've got 1360km on it so far, not bad considering it's supposed to be winter

TWN says the rain is going to end around 10am. By 11am it will already be 11C and mix of sun and clouds. Not sure where you saw all day rain? Even Environment Canada agrees, they say rain ending in the morning and then clearing. Get the cars out boys!

Getting bright already, just waiting for the streets to dry up.

Thanks Mother Nature, it was a short run but it felt great. No salt, no puddles and brilliant sunshine, couldn’t ask for more except time.

I took mine to work today and couldn't believe my eyes when the outside temperature gauge was showing 15C! I drove all the way home on the highway with the window down, is it Feb 27th or April 27th? I love global warming
