Just a heads up to those considering buying parts from Dennis at DoubleDMods.
Though I had purchased parts from him in the past with no issues, he seems to have fallen down on making good on delivering, but not on taking a guys money. He has also fallen down on being accountable.
I ordered parts from him via phone back in Feb of 2017 and gave visa # over the phone. Parts were custom and waiting a while to get them was a known. However, after waiting several months and numerous attempts to contact him and allowances for him to make good on the deal, he has chosen to ignore his responsibility in this matter. No parts for me and no refund.
So, should you decide to purchase parts from this guy, I would HIGHLY recommend getting everything in writing via email along with an invoice before you purchase. My mistake!!
Like I said, I never had a problem with him in the past......but for some reason he is dropping the ball. He even stiffed me for the cost of shipping back an amp which was not the item I had purchased from him.
I see he is no longer on this forum, so I have to wonder if this isn't the first time this has been an issue.

For all of you who are defending Dennis,
August 2017-Ordered bezel and radio kit totaling $780.00
Called him after 3 months, no answer. Emailed, responded “Behind on orders due to too much work”
4 months-Emailed several times, finally responded after third email stating that he had replied to all emails(he hadn’t). Said order would be completed that week.
4 1/2 months- Emailed several times, finally responded after third email again stating that he had replied to all emails(he hadn’t).Said order was shipped and I would receive in a few days.
5 months- Emailed again several times before reply- Order shipped to wrong person. Requested refund.
5 1/2 months- Emailed, responded “Order returned but scratched up and needed to re-do”. Requested refund.
6 months- Emailed, responded “Too cold to to paint plastics.” Requested refund.
6 1/2 months- Emailed, responded, “Dropped off in shipping last week, will check on it tomorrow”. Requested refund.
No response since that last email.
This was intentional fraud. Dennis had several opportunities to tell me that he could not complete this order. He continually lied and made up excuses. He took my money in August knowing that he was not going to fulfill it. Last week I filed a formal internet fraud suit against DoubleDMods. Probably won’t make a difference but might stop others from getting cheated by him.
