Frc?

Are you talking about a particular year? I have never heard this before but who knows. I bought my 03 new in Toronto.

That is why I asked you the year you were referring to.
If the 2003 Z 06 is not a body style that would be described as a Fixed Roof Coupe what would you call it?
Yes I understand the "budget" Corvette FRC morphed into the Z06.

Unless the clusters were swapped out at some point, i believe they were available here.
Not sure if that complicates things or helps, but I promise it's not fake news

The FRC was only produced in 1999 and 2000. Pretty sure they were sold in Canada.
Most people in Chevy dealerships wouldn't know what it is unless they are Corvette experts like a Wilson Niblett. Even then, a newer sales person might not know it...

Curious about this as well now. You seldom see one but I cannot think of any reason they would not have offered them for sale here. I saw a white one down the Alliston area once which has to be very rare indeed.
As TGstring says he is pretty sure he drove one when looking for a coupe.

Yes, the Z06 is the FRC body, but the original "FRC" is the '99-'00 that preceded the '01-'04 Z06, and had the base LS1. They were definitely pretty rare. Can't speak to their Canadian availability, as I truly do not know, but I know I've seen a handful of them around (...original whereabouts unknown!).

I remember those 99-00 FRCs! They were nicknamed the Billy Bob Corvettes at the time. At first they were going to be a very stripped down version of the Corvette with just cloth seats and crank windows as well but they scrapped that idea before production.

FRC....Canadian
Hi.... Yes they were sold in Canada. Very, very few. The # I think was around 19 vehicles. Can't remember where I heard it, but was a little POed when I did. I wanted one and was told they were not sold in Canada by Vette people. Of course I found out about it AFTER I imported, but it was $10K cheaper at the time!!!!
I was one of the "first" to import a 99 FRC from the States. The car is still here in Ontario. I have seen the white FRC here in Ontario in Alliston car cruise. White was a rare colour for a FRC......
Hope that helps
Cheers
