2019 HDR Thursday
Well. The nice(r) weather is starting to come around. Anyone up for an HDR this coming Thursday, weather permitting of course. The first one of 2019.
We'll meet up at Yorkdale Mall and cruise to Apache via downtown, to where it's nice and warm inside.
I should go for a drive just to make sure the roads are ok in that area.

Meet at Yorkdale Mall between 9-10pm at the North west parking lot in front of Hudson's Bay.
Leave at 10pm for a short cruise thru downtown to Apache's in Etobicoke (Dundas/Kipling area).

So something has come up for me tonight and I cannot make it. Plus they are still calling for some rain tonight so let's postpone till next Thursday.

Apache was supposed to be last week as it was in the negative degrees outside. At least they have plenty of free corvette safe parking and a warm inside. Plus they cook hotdogs too. And they are good!
It is called a hot dog run because when we started this 13 years ago, at the end of the cruise, we usually ended up parked in front of several street hot dog vendors. Some of us partaked in the delicacy, others chose differently. But finding parking on a downtown street for 20+ corvettes, without fear of retribution is getting harder and harder to almost nigh on impossible these days. Over the past few years, we've had to find alternative destinations that were more welcoming. So we truncated the name to HDR. But once in a while, we still do the "Hot Dog Run".

Hi Stan .. not sure what your thoughts are on a possible run tonite but I suspect a lot of folks are checking this thread every 5 minutes to see what is happening. The impression is that you are back as the Ring Leader but to be honest, I am not sure.
Sounds like a few guys are ready for tonite, so for what it's worth, I will head over for sure and we'll see who shows up ...
Giddy Up !!!
