Good! Except I don't use any of those highways
Sucks that they're keeping the nonsense "street racing" charge at 150 but hopefully they won't be more militant about enforcing the speed limits in general.

I use the QEW between St. Cats and Hamilton often so not bad but 110 is useless in that stretch anyways...……………...you'd get run over if you don't go at least 130km/h there.

Well baby steps I'm sure - whats 110kph? 68mph? That's lower than the speed limit was when I first got my driver's license and driving my dad's old 66 Pontiac Parisienne. They also could have done 401 E of 115 all the way to the Quebec border and even the northernmost parts of the 400 and 404. It's interesting that as soon as they made the announcement they had a spokesperson on decrying the evils of Street Racing. I'm not sure what street racing has to do with raising the speed limit by 10 kph but hey it's their dime. If you have any interest at all either for or against by all means contact your MP or I hear now they've got a online poll that they're going to run all Summer. I think the thing that upsets me the most is being called stupid and that I haven't got the sense of literally everybody else in every other province in Canada and state in the Union.

As for what good it is... well, getting dinged at 130 or 140 won't be as severe as before? Hopefully the enforcement tactics don't change. It will suck if the cops start being more militant about the limit.
