There is usually a bunch of us who go up. I missed this years because of the black out, but I was there the year before. And I am planning on going up next year.

Superfast80 has been going for years, the rest of us are more recent additions to the show, me I started in the mid 90's when not just vettes partook. Its jun to see all the different years and spend a morning or afternoon at the show site. The best part is the ppl you get to see once per year and talk about what each other has done over the year to the vette and upsoming year's plans.

Hi Cindi76! Nice offer, hope some folks can take you up on it. Motel rooms are expensive that weekend, I pay $200 a night but for me it is important to be right in the action without having to drive at the end of the night. We get the whole scene from our balcony. Where is your uncle? Elmvale?

As Cyndi said, I also will have space this year at my cottage (actually my parents). It was just build and actually was just finished.

It is not that far from the strip... 72nd street.

That is where I will be staying next year.

I don`t see why not. The cottage is on 2 lots, so there is lots of parking. And the basement is wide open so there is lots of room.

My dad has started preparing my mom for the possiblity that there might be a lot of people taking over the cottage that weekend :-)

His house is on Sunnidale River Road which runs parralel to Mosley and is separated by only a patch of grass. It's between 5-10 minute drive to the beach where the action is. He's right along the river which made for a couple of nice bonfire nights.

It is a good and fun show. However, I have been reluctant the last couple of years only because the cars AND owners have been all the same, sometimes parked in the same spots! I like to see new blood.

That being said, the cruise of the area with 300 or so Vettes is very cool except for when they male it too long (ie 2 years ago).

I would like to make it next August. I missed 2003 due to a new arrival in the family. That make us four; hmmm, vettes don't seat four, I hope I can bribe the grandparents.

Nope, surprisingly I've never seen him around town....and it's a real small town. I never miss a vette going past.
