Default Which one??

Which one would you guys choose? Porter cable # 7424 or the 7336? What's the difference between the two? Is the flexible backing pad necessary?

Only difference is the counterweight. Either will be fine.

7336 = 6" weight 7424 = 5" weight

IMO, it's personal preference.

The velcro backer plate is needed if you want to run the interchangable foam pads, I get my 6 inch backer plate and 7.5 inch Lake Country foam pads from www.topoftheline.com and buy my PC at Lowes for 99.99...
