Default Ugh!

Today while leaving work A bird made a bullseye out of my C6. Nailed my passenger side window. I use Rejex on my windows. Rejex made it slick so the bird crap rolled down into the doors. I wiped up what I could but could see some of the crap down the door. I rolled the windows up and down a few times and it keeps leaving streaky bird crap on my windows. I waited an hour hoping it would dry and rolled the windows up and down again. Streak still there.
I hope waiting a day or two to make sure it dries out before rolling windows up and down.

As soon as you saw it, you should have used your tounge to wipe it off, if you're that critical about your car..

The PH in your saliva, and the texture of your tounge would neutralize the bird dropping as its extremely acidic..

Yea, I know you think I'm full of it, but I have been posting this for a few years now, ever since I saw 2 guys doing it on $1,000,000.00
Dusenbergs at the Hershey PA show...and that was their explanation to me abut it..

Now, would I myself do it, probably not, but if you don't want it to etch, it is something that can be doen to prevent it..

I have had a few guys pm me & tell me under secrecy that they did it & it works..

Just something to think about if you're really **** about you car's finish..

This is also a very well know item on the "older" antique Concours circuit...

That bird had a lot of nerve to drop on a C6. It probably mistaken it for a lowly C3/C4 or something.
