Default 3M Clear Bra

3M has a superior product. 600-800 for prosessional installation depending where you live.

I think there were some posts not along ago with people complaining that the Cleartastic pieces weren't staying in place.

the product is a great product and doesn't cost 600-800. It's made to be removed and installed without any glue. Usually the only unhappy people are the ones that don't install them properly (according to the directions) and if you don't follow the directions, you will have a problem. however if you do follow them there aren't any problems. If you have a problem however, Ed who is the owner will personally help you out to solve it. I have been using them for years with great results. the other nice part is at the end of a show season I remove them and throw them away and install a new set for the next year since I am not throwing away 600-800 dollars. try to do that with any glued on product that gets destroyed through normal driving. wcj

Superior product, …no.
Different, ….absolutely .
What makes our film different then any other protective film, is there is no glue. We simply created our product for the enthusiast who did not want to permanently glue something to their paint. This is huge with NCRS, show or custom painted cars. No glue means you can install it yourself. Since there is no adhesive you will never have dirt or wax residue build up on the edges and create unsightly lines over time.

But what is real appealing to most, is our kits for behind the wheels (which replaces mud flaps) This area gets hammered /sandblasted from the tires. If you have a glued on permanent film, you will now be stuck with a film with marks and pits stuck on your car. With our film you can just simply and inexpensively ($23-$69.99) remove and replace it after a year or two. Adhesive films need chemicals or heat guns to remove it. With ours you just grab a corner a peel off. Leaves no residue.

It's really a matter of choice.
The 3m or any other adhesive film is a good product and will also protect your paint. Our product just offers another alternative to protecting your paint.

Like the post (by wcj)above and in other posts , you will find that application is key. If you apply them correctly you will have nothing but great results……..and a car without chips

Heres a few positive threads/comments I dug up regarding our product and our service..

Take care

Just got off the phone with Ed from Cleartastic. Really a nice guy and very helpful - heck we for about 1/2 an hour. Anyway, I orderd a complete C6 package from him. Give him a call he really knows his stuff as well as Corvettes.

Errr...., actually Armorglove has a superior product to both 3M and Cleartastic.

You can read about it here (and why), complete with pictures comparing the two:
