nice work, TK and ET ...

hey ET with the NO tire stuff ---- do you let it sit for a min, then rinse it with water, or wipe off repeating until clean?

hey TK with the spray in the engine bay - its a black enhancement spray right? so it will bright blacks up but hopefully wont 'paint silver or metal engine components right?
do you spray it on to the black areas mainly ...wait then rinse off?

Cheers

Has anyone read the warning label on the back of the Hot Shine can? It says that it contains acetone. It warns against getting it on any painted or chrome surfaces. It recommends putting it on "tires only". It also says that it's not to be used on byclcles or motorcycles. I assume that's because it will eat away the paint and chrome.

ET,

Great tip with the No Touch in the wheel wells (the results were tremendous) but it sure doesn't look like it was applied with an applicator.

Yes you are correct in that I do Not use an applicator on this part of my detailing steps... as for the question about washing it off with water???? Thats a no no.... No touch is a cleaner in a foam type spray, it emulsifies dirts and road salt, it leaves a protective coating much like silicone.. the product was design for tires... it will clean muddy tires without having to scrub or wash them and leaves them shiny... what I like about this product is that it cleans and neutralizes.. once the foam turns from white to clear... I then take a towel and wipe down the wheel well leaving it very clean to the touch and with a protective coating to ease in the removal of subsequent road grime salt and tar...
I do Not use this on my tires... I use Meguiars Endurance gel, applied with an applicator...

, I use the Meguiars Endurance gel as well, good stuff. I am going to look for the No Touch next time I'm at COSTCO like one of the brothers mentioned above.

ET,
I couldn't resist that one by the way, you lobbed it up there for me.

Just bought some Hot Tire Shine last week. Love it on my tires. I have been using Armor All and Armor All Ultra Shine on my hoses and black engine parts. Will definately try some of this stuff.

It's OK TC.... I can take it as well as give it out... and I have been known to give it out on a rare occasion too.
I enjoy having someone poke their finger in my eye just as well as the next guy.. the only problem is I always remember the guy who did the poking..

Yes... I've had it on for over a week. Actually I think it repells the dust.
