window spots?

anyone have a cleaner that will remove water spots from the outside glass? i tried rubbing compound which was working but after a few minutes of rubbing in one spot my arm was about to fall off

Try a section of paper towel dampened with some white vinegar.

I had the same problem. I went to a local auto detail shop and bought a bottle of "Bio-Clean" water stain remover. Works pretty good, but your arms still get a workout.

Clay bar is worth a shot, although I've never had it remove spotting. Zaino Z12 glass polish works well.

I am a Griots junkie so I use Griots glass polish http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?&SKU=11017, it took out the water spots easily. I have never had mineral deposits so I could not tell you for sure what would happen. Good luck!

I second Griots Glass Polish. I use his Fine Glass Polish on my glass. Easy to apply, and it comes off easy as well. Makes glass smooth as a baby's bottom. I do it about every month/month and a half.

go to spray and wash and use the ionized finished spray... let some air dry..wipe window with dry... terry cloth in the shade...works for me.

Try to avoid touching the seals.
