"Magnashield"

When i bought my Titan 18 months ago they tried to get me to purchase a Magnashield program. What is Magnashield? Is it just a nice wax job? Or something else?

It's called dealer theft!

And it's legal in most states. If anyone tells you this will last a year or more tell them they full of BS! Don't buy it!

Don't buy any sealant or wax programs from dealers that cost 100's of dollars........

It's a ripoff! I suckered for one of these wax jobs about 10 years ago only it was called "perma plate". It was no better than any other wax job and has been mentioned, was gone before the year was up. This site contains pretty good advice about detailing and taking care of any car be it a vette or something else.

their are commercial version paint sealants. You can save yourself several $$ and do it yourself. Look to Klasse , Wolfgang, FourStar UPP, Meguairs #21 and several others available. Come visit us at www.autogeek.net if you are so inclined.
