Garage Windows\Sun Question
Perhaps, overkill but I recently moved to a new home. The section of the 3 car garage that is safest from activity has two windows. That is where I keep the Vette. The windows face East. By 12:00 the sun is over the house.
Are rays that come through the windows harmful to the car's finish?
Thanks for your advice.

The harmul component in sunlight is ultra violet radiation (UVR), which on an unprotected surface will eventually cause photo degeneration (colour fading) these also cause sunburn.

mine lives in the garage with a wolf noah cover(no windows though,luckily-thieves cant see what is in my garage) leaving it well waxed helps substantially against UV rays too.

How big are the windows? Could they be painted to match the garage door or trim? Or you could get a car cover.

I think of the choices made thus far I'd go with a car cover.
Killrwheels- I had to think about your suggestion for a while before the light came on...install tint [on the garage windows

I bought a great indoor cover because I'm afraid of it getting hit in the garage.
If you don't care about that, you can pick up a silk one from anywhere that doesn't keep the dust off your car, BUT DOES KEEP OUT THE UVR'S, which is what you want. $40 vs $150 plus!
