Default What I did wrong?

Couple weeks ago I washed my car with P21S shampoo, than used Absorber to remove water from the paint. After that, I used Grigio's Garage clay bar and detailer as a lube, than wiped-out whole car with micro fiber towels. After that I used P21S polish, than P21S wax. After waxing used Eimann Fabrik Clear Pearl Instant Detail. A saw great shine and perfect gloss.
We had heavy rain at this night. At the morning all cars at the parking lot was almost dry with some minor water stains. My car was covered by water stains from bottom to the top. When I drove my car at 30mph water wasn’t removed by the wind. If fills like stains was glued to the paint. What I did wrong???
P.S. Sorry for my terrible English:-)

Doesn't sound like you did anything wrong necessarily.

Had you washed the car before the rain?

No, I didn't. I didn't wash it for 2 weeks, after waxing. Ordered Zaino today, want to use it and see the results. I never had such problem before, when I used Meguard products.

You might have a lot of pollen on your car, it will feel a little like glue if it rain and then dries, wash your car and that should fix what you are seeing/feeling.

Do not forget, before you use Zaino, you have to remove ALL of the wax and polish from your paint.......

If its a dark color your still likely to get water spots under those circumstances. However, having been using Zaino, it does sheet off really well so I usually end up with just a hand full of spots which can easily be removed with Z6.

Thank you for your advice, I'll try to wash it today and check the results after rain.

Don't try taking pollen off your car with a towel and detail spray, pollen is very abrasive, use car wash and a lot of water.

P21S is a wax that beads like crazy. My guess is that the beads of water sat on the paint, and that's why you have so many water spots. This, combined with pollen, will surely leave some nasty stains.
