Does this stuff collect dust like waxing does? Everytime I wax the Vette, or any car for that matter, dust seems to migrate on it.

I have never found a way to eliminate dust, it seems attracted to a clean car. That said using microfibers, dusting tools, and other modern inventions help to reduce it. Sealants will not capture dust in the same way some carnuba's will, but again only a reduction.

I haven't used it long enough to tell about the dust. What I can say is the chrome I done with it looks better than anything I've ever used. Barry, you have sold me. I was skeptical at first, but after trying rejex, I'll be a lifetime user.

The reason you notice dust is because as you rub on the cars surface you are creating static electricity. Dust is then attracted to the cars surface. Some detailers ground the cars they are working on to lessen the dust build up, especially when working with a rotary.
Same with driving, you are creating a positive charge as you drive and this causes the brake dust, which has metallic particles, to cling to the wheel. Ceramic brakes have little to no dusting.

Yeah, what he said. It makes sense what is said about the static, but how is grounding a Vette with non-metal body panels going to help with the static cling effect.

hello all,
i'm glad to hear that some of you are trying Rejex.
and based upon my own experience, RejeX does not generate the static electricity that causes dust to cling.
but, another quality of RejeX that seems to make a big difference is that it doesn't dry to a white, flaky powder like wax does.
hope to hear from the rest of you if you have any questions.
thanks all,
barry

One of the reasons I stopped using Zaino was because it attracted dust like a magnet. It was all over the car top and sides. When I stopped using Zaino the dust problem vanashed. I mixed Zaino with other waxes, which helped but it could only be eliminated by using another brand of wax.
I was using terry towels to remove wax during the two months I used Zaino. I have found Mothers Reflections produces a better wetter look than Zaino.

The static is caused by friction (polyester nylon will increase the charge) foam used on a rotary or a buffer will also cause friction static
(shocking I know )
Connect the vehicle's body to 'ground' i.e. via a copper water pipe
