Making it shine
-Wash
-Claybar to remove surface contamination
-Wash
-Polish with heavy or medium abrasive as needed for swirls, scratches, oxidation, etc. (most enthusiast detailers will use a Porter Cable random orbital polisher and foam pad)
-Polish with light abrasive and/or cleaner as needed to remove hazing from above stage or to remove light marring (again with a PC and foam pad)
-Wax or Seal paint
