Default Zaino Question

I do some detailing on the side and use Zaino. I find that after I am finished at time peoples hoods seem to need some more care so I will put a coat of Meguires cleaner wax or turtle or NXT. This does make the hood look better as I realize Zaino does not cover scratches but does the cleaner wax take the Zaino off if it has not ample time to cure?

Any abrasive products such as cleaners will remove whatever product, including Zaino that you have on the surface. Your best bet is to use polishes to get the surface as clean and blemesh free as possible before applying Zaino.

That is why PROPER PREP WORK is important. If you are doing work for other people, don't be skipping steps.

These products are probably removing the Zaino, you need to polish out the surface with pro products like 3M Swirl Mark Remover part number 39012 or 3M Fine cut rubbing compound before application of Zaino if the paint has problems as you have discussed that they have.

Zaino in a few weeks will have an paint cleanser and swirl mark remover product available that will replace the 3M swirl mark remover and the new Zaino product is compatiable with the Zaino Z-2 and Z-5 and works awesome with foam pads and the Porter Cable.........(I have been testing a sample of it)

You need to remember that often I am doing older vehicles. The last was a 2001 caravan. Customer is wanting their vehicle to look nice but are not willing to pay for addition time. A additional coat of wax is 15 minutes on the hood. FYI

Just use the NTX and skip the Zaino then since you are taking the Zaino off anyway.

When a car comes in, the first thing to do is assess the condition of its finish. Once you do that you can show the customer what needs to be done and and give a valid cost estimate.
A great shine always starts with great preparation.

If cars are older/neglected/etc. then you might look towards a product like Klasse AIO instead of Zaino. It will allow a one step quick product that cleans and protects.

year old. It just shows the scratches more now that it did before when I was using Liquid Glass polish so there was a trade off.
