What's the best (safe) product to remove tree sap from a black C-5?
Thanks, Mike
if the sap has not had time to harden, a little windex on a towel will work...if the sap is hardened, and is not a thick drop, any brand of bug and tar remover (i use turtle wax brand) will usually work...if it is a larger glob of sap and the bug/tar remover won't get it off, a little 3m adhesive remover will usually get it off....
WD-40 to loosen it and remove then if it has etched then follow with ScratchX
This is a good trick, just don't let the WD-40 sit longer than 40 seconds or so. Do not use any abrasive polish or compounds. If you use a product that contains abrasives you will put swirls and fine scratches
in your paint finish.
