Does anyone use "Finish First" polish? Feedback please!
A friend of mine uses a product called Finish First on his cars and airplane.
He swears by it and has told me it is very easy to apply/remove, leaves no dust residue when removed, and protection lasts about one year.
Does anyone out there use Finish First?
If so, are you satisfied with the results???
Thanks!

Also nothing lasts one year unless the vehicle stays in the garage.

Are they made by the same company or are they just similar?

The two owners of Liquid Glass had a "disagreement" years ago and one owner left and started Finish First, for years it was the same product, same can and directions, now there is a slight difference because Liquid Glass has changed their product 4 times that I know of (our shops applied their product for about 10 years)

Are they a good, "all-around" protectant?
Thanks!

Between the two I'd go with Liquid Glass.
A decent product that is probably easier to find than Finish First and probably has been improved where FF may not be.
A polymer sealant will easily outlast Carnauba waxes.

Finish First was the first product I put on my new Vette three years ago. It does go on and off easy, doesn't stain the trim, and gives a good shine. I was disappointed by its claim that it wouuld fill swirl marks so I emailed their tech department and got the reply that it may take up to 10 coats to fill the minor swirls. It's an OK product. I can't say anything against it. I do think there are better and easier to get synthetics on the market today so I tossed it out about a year ago.

Which synthetics are thought to be the best other than the Zaino line?
I am looking for durability, UV protection, ease of use, etc.
Please keep in mind I live in the scorching sun in Phoenix.
Thanks!

I Zaino my C6, but don't want to go through all of the steps for my daily drivers.
Any suggestions on a durable, UV protecting, easy use product?

Just curious....all of what steps?
4 drops of ZFX in an ounce of Z-2 shake and apply.
Easier on and off than Liquid Glass or Finish First and according reviews and forum talk, Zaino lasts longer.

Zaino doesn't have cleaners in it.
Finish First, Liquid Glass and others have cleaners to remove road grime, fallout, etc.
If I Zaino'd, I'd have to use a separate cleaner.

I see.
I'd go with LG or Klasse.

I think I've tried them all, Zaino, NXT, Race Glaze, Klass, and all the carnaubas-Souveran Pinnacle, P21S, 3M. I've settled on Mothers Reflections this past year. I use the Mother's clay bar, followed by Reflections car wax, then Reflections top coat. Easy on, easy off. Does not stain trim. The car wax is a cleaner wax so it removes pitch, road grime, scuff marks. I prefer a cleaner wax since I only clay the car once a year. I get 3-4 months of durability but I find the product so easy to use that I do the car about every 6-8 weeks. I use a random orbital buffer to put on the wax and top coat. The Reflections tire care is excellent, maybe my favorite product in the line. I also use the Mother's Wheel Wax for Clear Coated wheels, since I have the high polished rims. I have not tried the Reflections leather care. I like Zaino leather care or Turtle Wax, Platinum series leather cleaner/conditioner. It's much cheaper than Zaino and cleans well and has a great leather smell. Check out the Reflections line.

Nothing on the Liquid Glass can mentions it has cleaners to remove road grime, light oxidation, etc. Does it have these?
Also, any Klasse recommendations out there?

I agree...but it has no cleaners in it.
I use my Expedition and Truck along the Gulf of Califronia as well as drive them on oily roads in Mexico. The road grime is unbelievable!
I am looking for something that has a cleaner in it.
