In general, I would agree with these guys about hand waxing your C6...applying wax is the easy part; relax and enjoy it.
OTOH, I have used my PC to apply wax to a DRIVER after using 3M rubbing compound and 3M foam pad glaze. Maybe, I was imprecise, but I maintained the same speed setting (3) for all three steps. More important than speed, IMO, is to use the proper "no-cut" pad for wax application...I used a Lake Country constant pressure RED pad. The old SUV looked like it had a coating of red glass afterward.

Actually, I totally agree with you guys. I was wanting the information to wax/wax off my sons black Saturn... Appears "3" is the number speed to be on...(Thats what I used and the car looks great!)
yep, funny thing -- I also apply by hand to the Vette.
But to the wife's SUV, apply Meguiars #26 yellow wax by PC set at somewhere between 3 and 4, with black Wolfgang (pretty much a "no-cut" pad). Really great results, in about 4 minutes for the entire car -- probably 1/10th what it would have taken by hand. For a big job like that, it's REALLY worth pulling out the PC.
