How to get melted plastic off exhaust tips!
ran over a brown plastic bag and it stuck on my hot exhaust tips, anyone know how to get it off. its melted on pretty good. thanks

I'd try a solvent such as acetone to break down the plastic.
It will probably need to be in contact with the plastic for a substantial period, and it will take a few tries, but it should work.
Don't worry about damaging the tips. They are not clearcoated.

Thanks forum members for your advice, jrose7004 on the general c5 forum suggested i use some goof off which i did and along with a lot of rubbing it came off, now as good as new. forum members came thru as always.
