Default Rejex Rules

I was not a believer even after reading some of the threads posted here. I should have known better than to doubt the forum. This stuff is amazing. The back of my black 05 C6 was dirty 2 minutes after a wash. Not it is close to spotless and a California feather duster takes care of the rest. Thank you Rejex for making my life complete!

Default Rejex on windows

I agree with your Rejex comments. Don't forget to apply Rejex to the exterior window glass for a really slick look, especially on the dark rear hatch glass. The glass will feel really slippery and will easily shed water. A soft duster works great in removing daily dust. When the windows get dirty, just wipe them down with a towel dampened with plain water (so the Rejex with not get removed by the ammonia in the window cleaner). Two coats of Rejex works best...

I do NOT like rejex on the windscreen. It makes the water bead up very finely so it looks foggy. The rest of the windows are OK and it works well.

I've used Rain-X for years on front wind screen. Are these two products similar? Rain-X specificaly says NOT to put it on paint.

I've used rainX before and I do not care for that either. Rejex is not for textured sufaces but it does perform like rainx on the windows. I don't like rainx either. I would not put rainx on the paint - I would trust what the manufacturer writes on the bottle! They are distinctly different products.

ReJex is all I use. I use it inside & out on windows, Nav Screen & Gauge plastic cover as well, after I gently clean them with a micro fiber hand cloth.

drbill
thanks for posting the nice thread about RejeX. i agree with your perspective regarding not being a believer until you've tried it yourself. it really is a completely revolutionary product that saves a lot of time and hassle when it comes time to get on the road. no more cleaning and wiping for hours, more time behind the wheel!!!!

DaMayor
i appreciate your comments very much as well.

Docbrock
RejeX can be used on the front exterior glass as well, however i agree with Steve Germany that there are personal preferences that will ultimately guide your decision.
RejeX and rain-x are in no way similar. the original rain-x is mostly silicone oil which repels water, but silicone oil aborbs into and contaminates car paint, which is why the manufacturer says to be careful to not get in on painted surfaces. RejeX is a proprietary silioxane which does not harm painted surfaces, bare or coated metals, glass, plastics, acrylic lenses, vinyls, clear bras, etc. it will shine and help keep your window glass very clean. however, i would not recommend its use on windshields that have the rain-sensing delay wiper option (found mostly on cadillacs and other luxury models). the RejeX may interfere with the rain sensors causing a lack of performance of the delay feature on the wipers. however, i've had customers use RejeX on cars with this option that reported no lack of rain-sensing performance.

Guitarstar
thanks for the pic. your car looks awesome as usual.

if anyone has any questions, please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime. i'll be happy to respond to any inquiry regarding RejeX.

very best regards everyone.

O.K. I'm going to give this stuff a try. I was disappointed with all the steps and cost of Zaino.

I am unsure what extra steps you are referring to. With any product your paint should be properly prepped for the best results. Zaino just happens to be one of the only companies/products that tries to educate the consumer on proper paint prep. After my paint is prepped it only takes me 20 to 30 minutes to Zaino my car, pretty much the same amount of time it would take me to use any product including the one being discussed here. In conclusion, you should be doing those steps regardless of what product you use.

Can you use Zaino and Rejex together?? If so, which one do u apply first? Or are you just wasting time doing both?? Thanks in advance.

I would not use them together. I would stick with 1 product and use their entire system so all the products are designed to work together and are compatable.

I have to say, I will never use wax again . I used Rejex for the first time this weekend and it was way to easy to apply and the results were great
