Now, I know this will sound crazy to a lot of people but this really works. If you want to keep dust off of your car when it sits in the garage for extended periods of time, it must be statically discharged. And the way to do that is to attach a coat hanger to one of your tail pipes and let it hang down enough to touch your garage floor. That grounds the vehicle and truly reduces dust dramatically! Weird!

I agree. My microfiber craze lasted about 2 months. Then I woke up and saw that every time MF touches my car it leaves scratches. Just use 100% cotton bath towels, cut up with a scissors to convenient detailing cloth size. Cotton is the way to go.
