I thought you could apply some sealer/wax after polishing that would last through a few washings so that just a detailer spray and micro fiber would suffice.

Maybe Rejex or something similar after using Mother......

nice choice in wheels ...

get yourself some good alumium polish (Simichrome) and a Powerball, and it should make quick work of them. Mothers Polish works very well also.

As for the sealant, there are several on the market. I have been using the DP Sealant with nice results. Lasts about a month with washing twice weekly and removal polish at the end of each month. Having used all those offered above, I have found that they all last about the same time. Seems to be the extreme heat the wheels are accustomed too.

How much work is it to keep them looking good?
alot!
How often do they need to be polished?
every time they get wet
What products.....can I use something like Rejex between polishings?
Never Dull, Simichrome, Wenol, will bring them up, Rejex, Z2, etc, will do nothing to make them shine...

Thanks for any help or thoughts....

THANKS !!!!!!

Please clarify this for me......

I thought SemiChrome was a polish. I know only aluminum polishes will shine up the wheels.

I know Rejex is NOT going to polish.....but will it lengthen the time between necessary polishings by sealing out the brake dust etc that can then just be washed off?? ..... as is the case with DP Sealant and maybe Z2 or others???

Nothing to clear up... to brighten up aluminum use Never Dull wadding, Simichrome or Wenol...

Once you've owned a set of high polish aluminum rims, you'll never go back.. Trust me..

Clear coated or chrome is the ONLY way to go..

Raw uncoated high polished rims?

I checked out the site and read the directions......its a little complicated with three basic steps including a 24 hour cure step.

I am surprized that no one here has tried it out.......if it lives up to its claims it seems that it would be a fantastic product.......except that all that real aluminum polish that everyone now has would sit on the shelf never to be used again.....

The junior kit is $99 and covers 30 square feet..... should this be enough to do 4 wheels???????????????

I may be the one to try this out...........

Called Zoop today.

Was told :
1. You can leave the tires on when sealing.
2. Enough in the Jr Kit ($99) for TWO sets of wheels.

** $15 shipping

Anyone want to give me some advise before I pull the trigger on this??

I can tell you that after contacting them and essentially offering my Iforged Wheels as guinea pig, they were less than accomidating. Infact, down right sarcastic. So I should spend 100.00 on an unproven sealant (could be only as good as my 15.00 DP wheel sealant), 15.00 in shipping, and have nobody other than Zoop themselves offering "lab results" claiming its virtues. I gotta admit ... they are less appealing by the minute.

Per your recommendation I will be trying DP Sealant first
