I wring mine out and put it back in the tube as well. Been using it for 2 months washing once a week. No problem so far. Where are you storing the tube?

Yeah, They say you can store it wet in the tube. But I have done this and it started to smell also :U So now I just hang it up first. I use a water blade instead most of the time :D

Ya know, I've never really thought to smell my absorber. I do always put it back in the tube damp and have never had any problems using it over the last 3 or 4 months. When I get home today though, I will take a big whiff....

Never had any problems here. I use mine once a week though. Maybe you use yours less frequent and starts to mildew?

I used my Absorber after work today. Nope- no mildew smell at all. Not sure what it smelled like though. Don't think I'll ever stick my nose up to it again..
