Default Dusting off Lemans Blue

I have a Lemans Blue C6 and the color is fairly dark. It is used as a recreational vehicle mainly on weekends and trips with my wife. My question is the car sits sometimes a week or two at a time and collects a substantial amount of dust. The car is immaculate as far as being clean but it has a layer of dust on it from sitting. Will using Zaino Z6 of Z8 scratch or put spider webbing on the paint? Or should it be washed to avoid any damage? How much dust is too much to just wipe down with Z6/Z8? Thanks in advance for any replys.

If it is just dust from sitting you will be fine. I would use a California duster first and then hit it with Z6 or Z8. When you dust it with the Calif duster just make sure that you do not use any pressure, just let the tips of the strands rub across the surface.

Dust it, spritz it and go...

California Duster, Z6 for Daily (if needed) Detailing, Z8 is not intended for daily use, but for special grade detailing(shows ,etc),Z8 can be used daily , dont get me wrong, but with it being 20 buks a bottle, the Z6 is sufficient for the daily detailer, Unless you dont care about the Dough, then go Hog wild and Z8 away.

Actually Zaino says you can use Z6 for dust removal, I just would feel safer California Dusting first, and Only purchase a California Duster, they have two grades of dusters, normal(which has bigger fibers), and the detailer version(which has more, finer fibers)this version has the wooden handle, Believe me ther is a difference between dusters , them cheapier ones are just that, Cheap, and dont actually remove the dust, but just swirl it around and causes a mess.

I recommend to my customers they use Z-6 for dusting and a very heavy napped towel. Once it's clean hit it with a light shot of Z-8.
I have experiminted with my own LMB and found this seems to work the best for me.
I am finding even with the absolute best towels at my disposal, my microsope eye can still spot minor swirls from the dusting off process. Most people think I am nuts and can't see what I see..... OK, I am a bit more **** than most.
The CA Duster does work well, along as you don't let it rest on the car and drag it. Hold it above the car and let it barely touch the surface.
